Game of Thrones Funko Pop Collectible Figures
One of the most popular Game of Thrones collectibles on the scene, these bobblehead style toys from Funko are all the rage amongst fans. With nearly 40 different characters and 50 options to choose from altogether, they’ll be an impressive addition to any serious collection. It will also take some time to collect them all, so we’ve gathered a list of all the Game of Thrones Funko Pop vinyl figures available in order to keep track of your progress.
First, we categorized them into groups, loosely based on the show’s geography. While some characters do cross over into multiple storylines (especially as we enter the home stretch) we thought it would be easier to pair characters like Daenerys and Khal Drogo together, just as one would associate Ygritte or Ghost with Jon Snow.
If you’d like to look at a numbered checklist, that’s included too. However, please note that it can be a bit confusing. Not only are there sometimes two or even three versions of a particular number, there was also a numbering error in the line where there are two different figures with the same number.
There is no #36 while both Margaery Tyrell and the Iron Thone are labeled as #38. Hodor is #15 in the regular Funko Pop Game of Thrones series, but pictured below is Daenerys riding on Drogon (also #15) that’s because it belongs to the “Pop! Rides” line. Early images had the 6″ Drogon as #39, but he is actually #46.
So let’s look at the Funko Pop Game of Thrones list…
“Across The Narrow Sea”
Daenerys Targaryen & Company Funko Pop Vinyl Figures
Nevermind just Game of Thrones, Daenerys Targaryen is one of the most popular characters on television right now, period. She’s grown from being used as a pawn in her brother’s royal ambitions into one of the most powerful rulers in the land. It also doesn’t hurt that she’s drop-dead gorgeous and has three dragons behind her. Clearly, she’s going to have some cool collectibles as well. Check out Dany and her dragons in Funko form below.
Daenerys “Flying on Drogon”
“North of The Wall”
Jon Snow & Company Funko Pop Vinyl Figures
Another character who’s popularity is virtually unmatched, it’s no wonder there are multiple versions of Jon Snow included in the Funko Pop Game of Thrones line. There’s an original version of Jon, followed by a bloody edition, as well as the “Castle Black” style which matches his buddy Samwell Tarly and their “training grounds” outfits. There are also two “Ghost” pops, one of them (“Flocked”) glows in the dark.
Jon also had a friendship with the wildlings, which to his misfortune would account for the “bloody” version. So you can add Ygritte to the list as well as Mag the Mighty (the wildling giant from S4, not to be confused with Wun Wun from S6). Finish it off with the Night King and his crew and you’ve got a nice collection from north of the wall.
“Winter is Coming”
Game of Thrones Funko Pop Related To House Stark
If you ask Craster, anyone from south of the wall is a southerner to him, but to the rest of us, House Stark are the true “kings in the north.” To start off this section of the Game of Thrones Funko Pop list, we’ve got two very popular characters in Arya Stark and Hodor. And, in our first lesson in not getting attached to characters on this show, you’ve got Ned Stark, pre, and post-meeting with Ser ILyn Payne’s sword.
Speaking of headless Starks, wouldn’t it be cool if they had a pop with Robb Stark’s body and Grey Wind’s head? For now, we’ll just have to settle for the normal versions. It’s also interesting that we have “Dark Sansa” instead of any other, considering that version of Sansa was so short lived on the show. (Before she met one of the most hated characters in Game of Thrones history, Ramsay Bolton.)
“When you play the Game of Thrones, you win, or you die”
Funko Pop Vinyl Related To King’s Landing
You can’t bring up hated characters without mentioning this lot. With all their gold and fancy clothes, the King’s landing crew still manage to be a bunch of miserable pricks, their king being the biggest prick of them all. Still, without the Lannister family, there would be no Tyrion so it’s a pretty good trade off as we watch him outwit them all, time and time again. There are a few other great characters hanging around the Red Keep as well. The beautiful Margaery Tyrell, the suave Oberyn Martell, and whether you love or hated Lord Tywin, he was pretty bad ass.
We also grew to love The Hound, once he left King’s Landing with a middle finger and a “f### the king,” we learned so much more about him (and his love of chicken). It’s a shame that we have his Funko Pop rival in The Mountain, but we have no Varys to Match Littlefinger. Hopefully, in a future release, they’ll come to their senses.
“Kings and Sidekicks”
More Funko Pop Game of Thrones Figures
[SEASON 2 AND SEASON 5 SPOILERS]
Two kings who just happened to be brothers, both with fiercely loyal sidekicks. Each brother was killed by the other’s “ride or die” chick who swore oaths to their kings. Bronn, on the other hand, is more of a “sidekick for hire.” His loyalty is to gold and that’s why he’s living a lords life while the other two are roaming around the north, disgraced and dirty in knee deep snow. Which Funko Pop characters are you rolling with?
The Funko Pop Game of Thrones collection wouldn’t be complete with the object of everyone’s ambition. We don’t know will be sitting on the Iron Throne by show’s end, but in the meantime, you can keep it warm for whoever emerges from the final showdown to claim it. Happy collecting!
